Course Details
How do you sustain yourself spiritually, day to day, when life is testing you? How do you start to strengthen and nurture your spiritual life now, before the going gets really tough? We are facing huge challenges to our way of life – this course is about how we can draw on the distinctive Quaker spirituality, grounded in active and experimental silence. We will draw on Quaker experience of silent communion and embodied, practical spirituality; of corporate and collective processes of discernment; and of testimony and nonviolence. We will consider how we can build a resilient and robust spiritual discipline, and explore the gifts that the Quaker way can offer at this challenging time
Course Leader Information
Pam Lunn and Lizz Roe, tutors at Woodbrooke, are developing the 'Good Lives' programme: helping Quakers and others to grapple with the enormous challenges now facing individuals, communities and nations.
