Course Details

This weekend will focus on how local communities can work together to meet their needs for food and other essential resources in a lower-energy future. We will learn from some practical and inspiring examples of community-led solutions to these challenges - including the Transition Towns movement - and consider what could work in our own specific localities and meetings. We will draw the weekend's explorations together by focussing on discerning our own leadings and priorities for action.

Course Leader Information

Craig Barnett is involved with Transition Sheffield, and is national co-ordinator of the City of Sanctuary movement.Pam Lunn is Programme Leader for the Good Lives Project and is particularly interested in the human (as distinct from the technical) issues around climate change and peak oil.
