Long-term Gardening Friends 2011

Two or more energetic people are sought to work with our gardener, Steve Lock, to help develop and care for our beautiful gardens, to cover March to August for periods of 3-4 months. You will work 25 hours in the garden each week and be one of a team of staff and volunteers resident on site. In return we offer room and board, expenses, the opportunity to join in the short course programmes free of charge and use of Woodbrooke's other facilities.

Offers of short term help are also received. Please request an application pack by calling administration on 0121 472 5171.

To find out more about life as a long-term gardening friend, visit the Good Lives Blog to read about the experiences of a recent volunteer.

Occasional Gardening Friends

Those who would like to devote a regular day or occasional few days to the grounds at Woodbrooke should contact Steve to see what currently needs doing. Steve Lock, Gardener, can supply full information and can be emailed directly at steve.lock@woodbrooke.org.uk or by contacting Woodbrooke.
