About Woodbrooke
Toilet Twinning
With thanks to the kind generosity of staff, volunteers and visitors, Woodbrooke's male and female toilets in New Wing corridor are now twinned with latrines in the tiny war-torn country of Burundi.
The twinning scheme was set up by international peacebuilding, relief and development organisation CORD. They are working to improve water and sanitation in Burundi and in the past year have helped local people there to build 870 latrines, each benefiting a family of six.
