A First Look at Quakerism

This session is designed for those who are completely new to the Quaker faith and are interested in finding out some basics of Quakerism. It offers a brief and basic introduction to four essential elements of Quakerism: Direct Encounter, Worship and Ministry, Discernment and Witness.


Using a simple structure, we will briefly explore the beginnings and nature of Quaker worship and beliefs. The session is aimed at absolute beginners and is suitable for anyone curious about Quakerism. It will provide a space where questions and reflections are encouraged.
