This short and accessible book about speaking in Quaker meeting for worship explores how our spoken ministry relates to the silence. In the launch, Rhiannon Grant will talk about the book, why and how she wrote it, and who might want to read it.
Why is there speech as well as silence and stillness in a Quaker meeting? Who speaks and how do they know when to speak? Is our meeting having too much spoken ministry or not enough? This book addresses the many questions about speaking in meetings for worship, providing a practical guide for individuals and communities.
