Do your ‘Business Meetings’ seem and feel like Meetings for Worship? How can you as an elder help your meeting in the right ordering of Meeting for Worship for Business? We will consider these questions together and deepen our practice of eldership on behalf of our Quaker communities.
Being a Quaker elder can be inspiring but also challenging. This monthly space on the second Monday of every month is a space for those with eldership responsibilities or who are interested in the practice of Quaker eldership to come together to consider and learn how to be an elder in your Quaker community.
This April session builds on the previous three sessions in the series. While not a requirement, these will help you to get the most out of the series:
• 11 January: Foundation of Quaker Eldership
• 8 February: Quaker Eldership and Meeting for Worship
• 8 March: Quaker Eldership and Vocal Ministry
These are not drop-ins but you can book right up to the start of the session at 7pm.
