Hope for the Future in Dark and Difficult Times – working with other churches and faiths.

The Quaker Committee for Christian and Interfaith Relations (QCCIR) and Woodbrooke working in partnership.

The conference is intended for Friends from as many Area Meetings as possible to come together and explore issues related to both inter church and interfaith relations.

This will be facilitated through lectures, workshops and space for informal discussion.

In a world facing many challenges, how can Quakers work with other churches and faiths to find hope for the future? This conference offers space to reflect, connect, and be inspired – together.

Speakers include:

  • Christopher Jamison, Abbott of the Benedictine Order
  • Clare Bonetree, Buddhist, Turning the Tide UK
  • Tim Gee, General Secretary, Friends World Committee for Consultation

Workshops will also be offered as part of the programme.

Bookings will close on 6 February. The conference is blended and Friends can choose to attend residentially at The Hayes (Swanwick, Derbyshire) or join online.
