The live Zoom sessions are at 19:00-20:30 (UK time) every Thursday.
Early Quakers described themselves as ‘Friends of the Truth’ and more recently Quakers have sought to articulate that truth through expressions of values called ‘testimonies’. How do we relate to these in our inner and outer lives today?
Many Quakers today refer to four core testimonies of simplicity, truth, equality and peace. This course will introduce each of these in turn and invite exploration of how we experience these in our personal spiritual practice and how we live them in our outward facing relationships with our communities and the world.
Live sessions will include some initial input from the tutor, time for individual reflection and opportunities to discuss in both small and whole groups.
On the booking form, there is a chance for you to let us know about any accessibility or communication adjustments that will enable you to participate more fully in the course. Automated Zoom closed captions are available for all live sessions but if you feel you require more accurate closed captioning please email us directly in addition to booking.
