Is our property a help or a hinderance? Is the property a tool of the meeting, or otherwise? What do we really need and what can we afford in time, energy and finance? This session offers a space to begin these reflections and hear from Friends who have engaged in this discernment process.
We will explore questions such as: What does Quakerism require of us? How much of our resources are going into property care? Do things need to change? Are there creative solutions to the problems that arise? Through questions, conversation and reflection we will share a way of approaching this difficult subject which could be then share with others in a group or meeting with their eye on the future.
This session complements the other Property Review and Renewal sessions, where we explore how meetings can approach property decisions with care and discernment.
