This one-day online course provides clear guidance on Quaker clerking and on being an effective clerk for your Meeting, group or committee. While also offering an opportunity to refresh and update skills, it is especially recommended for Friends new to the role.
Whether you are looking for practical guidance on clerking a Meeting for Worship for Business or support on staying organised in preparation, this course will be valuable for all Quaker clerks.
The course will be facilitated by two experienced clerks. Sessions include whole-group discussion, smaller break-out groups for peer sharing, and an optional one-to-one Q&A with the tutors.
By the end of the day, you will have a firm foundation in Quaker clerking and increased confidence in carrying out your role, whether meetings are in-person, online or hybrid.
