Would you like to learn how Quakers nominate and appoint people to roles? Are you about to be, or are you new on Nominations Committee? This one-day course will provide clear information about what being on ‘Noms’ entails and the basics of how to do it well.
This one-day course will get you started on a good footing and deepen your understanding of how Quaker Meetings work. The facilitators are experienced in Nominations in various forms from Local Meeting Nominations Committee to Central Nominations Committee for Britain Yearly Meeting.
We also recommended you attend our online session ‘Why Nominations Matter to Quakers’ on Tuesday 17 March. It will help you understand or refresh your understanding of the fundamental Quaker principles underpinning Quaker Nominations and how Quaker Meetings work.
