Refresh Your Quaker Role: grounding your service

In this two-session online course, we will take time to consider how service and spirituality can support each other.

Starting by ‘Looking Within’ in the first session, we will share a range of practices that can offer spiritual nourishment for individual roleholder renewal.

In the second session, we will then move to ‘Looking Outwards’, focussing on practices that may either be used individually or that may be helpful to engage in with others in order to develop a deeper spiritual life amongst a small group of roleholders.

This session may be for you if you are:

• Serving in a Quaker role but feeling spiritually dry
• Giving service alongside others as part of a clerking/elder/pastoral care/nominations team
• Looking forward to how a future Quaker role can deepen your spiritual connection
• Wonderfully inspired by your Quaker role and happy to share that with others
