Perhaps joy is a gift, a grace, and something to be cultivated. How can we put ourselves in the path of joy? Join this gathering to explore ways to find space for joy in all aspects of our lives.
We will gather experimentally, creating an open space where you are invited to share any thoughts, images, or practices related to this theme. In our considerations, we will include the body, creativity, and the practice of social justice. Can we engage in justice and peacemaking in a way that fosters joy in ourselves and others?
There is a previous session on Space for Joy on 25 January. Each session will be unique, shaped by what participants bring to the space. You are welcome to attend both to deepen your practice of joy, though each session can equally be enjoyed as a stand-alone experience.
Joy thrives in spaces like this. It is a discipline worth cultivating with others.
On the booking form, there is a chance for you to let us know about any accessibility or communication adjustments that will enable you to participate more fully in the course. Automated Zoom closed captions are available for all live sessions but if you feel you require more accurate closed captioning please email us directly in addition to booking.
