Nominations are at the heart of the way we live and work together as Friends. But this fundamental Quaker practice is often undervalued, overlooked and even neglected.
Come and learn about why it is an essential core part that holds the key to strengthening Quaker communities.
This is not a course on how to do nominations but an open information session for all – anyone who seek to understand why and how Quakerism and Quaker Meetings work the way they do and the behind-the-scenes ways in which nominations help them to thrive.
Friends who serve or considering serving on Nominations Committees are highly recommended to attend this evening session followed by the one-day online course, ‘Quaker Nominations in a Nutshell’, for insights and tools to help you do Nominations well.
This course will involve:
Discussion, Zoom Session
