Course Details

This course will focus on how Quaker practices and our lives as Friends reveal the nature of our theology. In a tradition that gives priority to right action over right belief, what we do is who we are. Together we will explore what Quaker spirituality, community and testimony have to say about our understandings of God, human nature, the creation and what the future holds.

Mark Russ is Woodbrooke's Nurturing Friends and Meetings Tutor. He is an experienced singing leader, having worked for 10 years as a music teacher in a variety of educational contexts. He has studied choral leadership both at the University of Birmingham and the Institute of Education. Mark's choral work ?The Nayler Passion', based on the life of the early Quaker leader, was premiered in Birmingham in 2013..
