The course is open to anyone – no prior knowledge required. The latest academic scholarship will be combined with an understanding of both religious traditions – all presented in a user-friendly way. There will also be plenty of time for discussion. The sessions will be as follows:

- The beginnings of rabbinic Judaism
- Boundaries – then and now
- Worship and final thoughts
Dr Ann Conway-Jones is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, specialising in biblical interpretation. She combines her scholarship with 20 years’ experience of teaching adults. She is actively involved in Jewish-Christian dialogue, having served four years as joint Honorary Secretary of the Council of Christians and Jews.
