We will aim to explore aspects of mindfulness through the practice of yoga and meditation for physical and mental self-awareness and combine this with photography as a self-guided meditative practice to deepen our experience of self and the environment in the context of woodbrooke’s house and garden.
Jill Woodman is a British Wheel of Yoga teacher and has taught annually at Woodbrooke for several years. She has a particular interest in mindfulness meditation as a way of connecting to the moment and creating a breathing space in life. Her long-standing enjoyment of photography has become the perfect way to slow down and bring mindfulness into daily life, as a way of exploring the wonder in everyday sights and experiences.
Gill Pennington is Woodbrooke’s Ministry Programmes Coordinator. Her ministry is walking alongside people as they explore their own journey of spiritual growth.
