From Militarisation to Peace Fri 2 – Sun 4 March. Read Ellis Brooks’ recent Big Issue article here.

23 January 2018

With the British Army encountering criticism for their new recruitment drive targeting young people from social disadvantaged backgrounds, our upcoming course “From Militarisation to Peace” will deconstruct the case for militarism and examine the culture of domination. We will look at the radical alternatives and how this transition to a more peaceful culture can be brought about.

As part of our Faith, Peace, Power series of courses we will examine how we can best express our testimony to peace and commitment to the abolition of war.

We invite you to Join Tracey Martin and Ivan Hutnick at Woodbrooke between Fri 2 –Sun 4 March to extend your commitment to peace and be supported doing so.
