Alison Richards

Alison Richards is Woodbrooke’s Deputy Head of Learning & Research. She is committed to educational quality assurance, ensuring that learning programmes will be well developed, resourced, managed and evaluated. She has experience in teacher education and is responsible for supporting and developing our team of Associate Tutors.

Alison is an experienced educator and lifelong spiritual pilgrim. She studied Medieval Literature and Spirituality as a young adult, immersed herself in Celtic Spirituality during a decade of living and working on Lindisfarne and came home to Quakerism and a commitment to the Quaker testimonies in later life. She enjoys weaving together these rich strands from her own history to create resources and support for others as they explore their own stories and paths through life.
