She is a member of Strawberry Creek Meeting in Emeryville, CA and a board member at Ben Lomond Quaker Center in Santa Cruz, CA. She facilitates Lectio Divina sessions at Ben Lomond, Friends General Conference, and elsewhere. She is a retired linguist with a husband, three daughters, and two grandchildren.
