Barbara Birch is retired professor of Linguistics. A long-time Quaker, she is a member of Strawberry Creek Meeting in Berkeley, California. Identifying as a liberal Christocentric Friend, she is passionate about understanding Quaker embodied spirituality. She has offered workshops at Friends General Conference and Ben Lomond Quaker Center. She has written articles for Friends Journal and Western Friend.
