Betty is Senior Lecturer for the Centre for Research in Quaker Studies. Betty will be working to make the extraordinary research work that has been done for degrees more widely known among Friends, the wider academic world and other relevant groups.

She is particularly interested in early Quaker history and writings.

Travel writing; Origins of early Quakerism; Quaker texts; women’s writing.
