As the Reparation Coordinator for Quakers in Britain, Esta is supporting Quakers on their journey of reparation to address the harm of the transatlantic trafficking and enslavement of African people. Esta is passionate about history and the role it can play in processes of repair, justice, and care. She sees historical understanding as essential to addressing present-day inequalities and wounds, recognising that silence and erasure are themselves forms of violence. Based in Yorkshire Esta enjoys long hikes and wild swimming.
