Graham Wood is a restless mathematician. A PhD in mathematics from the Australian National University (a long time ago) has led him to work from the sublime (investigating remote questions in pure maths) to the ridiculous (reducing methane emissions from sheep). A Quaker attender for many decades in New Zealand and the UK, he was treasurer for Aotearoa New Zealand Yearly Meeting for three years and is currently on the Premises Committee for Chichester Friends Meeting. Graham also has a long-standing interest in Buddhism.
