Janie Banfield

Janie Banfield is a New Zealand Friend with a vision for a ‘connectful world’.   A kayaker, sailor and touring cyclist, Janie is a self-styled Zero Waste Granny.  “Nonviolence to me is about connection. It means honouring seabirds by picking up litter on the beach to prevent plastic entering their ocean home, while respecting rather than judging myself. Nonviolence means choosing a plant-based diet yet also responding with respect and empathy online to others who have a different point of view.”
