Jennifer Barraclough has served on Quaker committees at local and national level for over four decades. Most recently she has clerked the Yearly Meeting trustee body and the trustee body of The Retreat York, and is currently a member of Central Nominations Committee and the former Meeting for Sufferings (now Continuing Yearly Meeting). During her time as director of Woodbrooke (1999-2010) she regularly spoke on Quaker business methods to non-Quaker bodies. She’d like everyone to get as much satisfaction and challenge from committee service as she has had.
