Jo Henderson-Merrygold recently submitted a PhD in Interdisciplinary Biblical Studies at the University of Sheffield. Jo explores how Sarai/h and Esau, both found in Genesis, represent characters with a richness of gender that is widely overlooked. When not researching gender and the Bible, Jo is involved in the life of the Methodist Church and works on diversity and inclusion.
