Jon R. Kershner is Visiting Assistant Professor of Religion and Faculty Fellow in the Humanities at Pacific Lutheran University. He is a member of Sierra-Cascades Yearly Meeting in the USA. His recent publications include “Woolman and Wilderness: A Quaker Sacramental Ecology” in Quakers, Creation Care, and Sustainability, John Woolman and the Government of Christ, an edited volume, Quakers and Mysticism: Comparative and Syncretic Approaches to Spirituality, and “To Renew the Covenant: Religious Themes in Eighteenth-Century Quaker Abolitionism.
