Marion Winslow worked as a psychotherapist in the second half of her life and has long been inspired by the ‘ecopsychological’ and systemic approach to therapy and mental health as well as the need to understand the role that psychology plays in the creation of and responses to the critical situation we find ourselves in. She has been on the planning group for an annual ‘Ecopsychology Gathering’. For several years, Marion has been a member of the climate psychology alliance,(CPA), a pioneer forum for vibrant debate and more recently developing various strands of action and resources. She’s been involved through her local and area Meetings in organising a variety of groups and events on climate change, and through Living Witness as a trustee for several years. She is very interested in bringing the strands of environmental action and psychological health together in the context of community. Individual and community resilience are deeply interwoven.
