Stephen Lingwood is a Cardiff-based theologian, activist, and pioneer minister. For fourteen years he was a minister to Unitarian churches in Bolton and Cardiff. For five years he was an associate of gentle/radical, a community arts organisation nominated for the Turner Prize in 2021. Stephen practices contemplative prayer, writes, creates spaces for deep conversations, uses prayer as protest, and hangs about in Cardiff pubs and cafes. He’s interested in how spiritual practice can led us to the healing justice needed in the climate crisis. He is author of The Unitarian Life, and Seeking Paradise: A Unitarian Mission for Our Times.
