Su Chard

Su Chard has worked for the last 20 years as an independent Celebrant in the South West of England.  She supports families to create funerals and then conducts them on the day.

Su completed an MSc at the University of Bath Centre for Death and Society, is an associate of CDAS and a visiting research fellow. her specialism is contemporary funeral rites.

Su runs a workshop called A Great Way to Go and has regularly spoken on death and dying on broadcast media, including Radio 4 Saturday Live and BBC Radios Gloucestershire, Devon and Cornwall.

Su is a Quaker and member of Gloucestershire Area Meeting.
