Suzanne Owen

Suzanne Owen is a teacher, writer, and Religious Studies scholar. Suzanne received her PhD from the University of Edinburgh in 2007. In 2008, her PhD thesis was published as The Appropriation of Native American Spirituality (Continuum – now Bloomsbury Academic). Her work focuses on concepts of ‘indigeneity’ and indigenous religion, contemporary Native North American and First Nations traditions; alongside contemporary paganism and shamanism.
