Yvette Issar is the Peace and Disarmament Programme Representative at QUNO Geneva. She is an international humanitarian lawyer with two decades of experience within the United Nations, International Committee of the Red Cross, civil society and academic institutions in Geneva.

Yvette is from Kenya and India. In work and life, she is guided by Quaker principles, and is a student of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and the Plum Village tradition of engaged Buddhism.
