Meditation – Qigong – Deep relaxation: a taster for ‘The Art of Grounding’ course
10:00 - 11:30
Zoom sessions and the use of our laptops has meant that over more than a year many of us have become overly sedentary. This is a taster session for the four week course ‘The Art of Grounding’ that begins in October which will offer sitting meditation, the graceful art of qigong and deep relaxation. Qi (pronounced Chi) can be translated as energy, the life force, “the breath of life” and the qigong movements we will practice are a form of moving meditation, one that can nourish our body, mind and spirit. This taster session and the course that follows later in autumn are designed to provide and sustain practices that will help us in becoming grounded and calm and so help us to touch peace and stability in our lives. Please note that if you have any health concerns about practicing qigong, do consult your GP first.
All times given are UK time.
