Spiritual Practices for Every Day
14 January 2023 - 10 February 2023
The live Zoom sessions are at 19:00-20:30 (UK time) every Tuesday during this period plus there will be a Quiet Day on Saturday 4 February (09:00-16:30).
Quakerism encourages us to be spiritually present every day. Putting this into practice can be difficult, especially if we lack time or confidence. This course will help you find the right spiritual exercises to weave into your daily life.
This course is an opportunity to explore what we mean by ‘spiritual practice’ and why it is important. We will experiment with a range of spiritual practices, including those which engage our minds, emotions, bodies and our whole self. With the encouragement of your fellow participants, you will discover which practices speak to you at this time. You are encouraged to experiment with these practices by yourself in between the sessions. The course will include a Quiet Day on Saturday 4 February (09:00 – 16:30).
The date period given for the course is when you are expected to interact with the online material and discussion forum; you can work on this at any time to suit you.
All times are given as UK time. Make sure to check your own timezone at www.savvytime.com/converter.
