Quaker and Anti-Quaker Publications Database, 1650 – 1666

These three comprehensive and searchable Excel databases have been made available by Rosemary Moore, CRQS Associate Supervisor, following the research for her book  The Light in their Consciences: Early Quakers in Britain 1646-1666 (Penn State University Press, 2000, revised edition 2020). The databases were updated in 2019.

They comprise

  • Quaker publications 1650-1666
  • Anti-Quaker publications 1652-1666
  • Books answered by George Fox in The Great Mistery of the Great Whore

This resource is free for scholars to use and we are very grateful to Rosemary for her generosity.
