Elder

nurture | welcome  | care | include | support

Woodbrooke elders are volunteers who support either online or in-person (or both) as we deliver our learning courses, single sessions and events.

Elders provide much-needed spiritual support and pastoral care to our participants, programme coordinators and tutors, enabling the facilitation of sessions for learning, discussion, and exploration.

Eldership is providing a ‘tender hand’ to hold a space of spiritual nurture and growth, of belonging and inclusion. The role of Elder is valued by our team, associate tutors and participants alike – and we offer training to those who feel led to offer this service to Woodbrooke.

You can register your interest in being an elder and personalise your Woodbrooke experience by completing the form below.
