Linda Murgatroyd

Linda uses arts and crafts activities to help ground spirit-led discernment and witness both personally and running workshops.  Following the 2010 publication of her essay the future of Quakers in Britain (https://www.thefriend.co.uk/fq/085.htm), she co-founded the Quaker Arts Network  https://quakerarts.net/.

Deepening and broadening engagement with the environmental polycrisis is a growing priority for Linda and she set up the Loving Earth (textile art) Project with this in mind.  She has previously worked in government statistics and served on Quaker Life Central Committee and currently serves as a spiritual director in an ecumenical context.
