Educators Worship

Quaker Educators Worship is a space for all Quakers, and those with similar values, who work in schools: it is intended to be a warm, supportive hub offering spiritual nourishment. It is hosted by members of Quaker Values in Education (QVinE), in association with Woodbrooke.

This will be a spacious place to share how we are living our Quaker values in schools. Join us in a gathered session on the first Monday of every month at 8.00p.m, for up to one hour (please note that in April and May, due to bank holidays, we will move to the second Monday instead). This will include silent worship, worship sharing and other ways of finding strength and support and joys.

The focus is to have some quiet time together at the end of the day; it will be held in Quaker stillness.  You will be joining a silent meeting.  There will be a space to speak if you feel moved to and there may be a reading by the host.  You don’t have to be a Quaker to come to worship.

We will mute ourselves when not speaking to help ensure that everyone can hear ministry and to minimise background noise.

Times

Monday 8 April and Monday 13 May at 8pm – 8.45pm.

In June we will return to our regular time of the first Monday of the month 8pm – 9pm.
