Would you like to write from the heart, in a space of creative and spiritual authenticity? This online retreat offers time to immerse ourselves in the creative process of writing.
Starting from Quaker silence, we will be led by heart rather than head, as we explore how to use the imagination to express our experience of the world.
Meeting in silence together creates space for a connection beyond words. Taking this as a starting point gives opportunity for the process of creative writing to allow us to explore our inner understandings.
This gentle retreat is based in Quaker community and open to all who value silence as the starting point for creativity.
After gathering in silence together, short, guided exercises will be introduced to inspire creative flow, followed by a longer period of individual writing time. There will be the chance to share writing at the end, if you choose.
On the booking form, there is a chance for you to let us know about any accessibility or communication adjustments that will enable you to participate more fully in the course. Automated Zoom closed captions are available for all live sessions but if you feel you require more accurate closed captioning please email us directly in addition to booking.
