“I am grateful for this wonderful place, it is the perfect place to learn and to grow”
At Woodbrooke we aim to provide inclusive, participatory learning that recognises and affirms the diverse gifts of all in the community. We hope you will find something to interest you at Woodbrooke, Swarthmoor Hall or Online.
As well as short courses Woodbrooke offers a range of opportunities for longer-term learning for those wishing to gain a deeper grounding in the Quaker way, and explore approaches to faith, witness, practice and leadership. All these programmes involve several short residencies at Woodbrooke or Swarthmore Hall. Equipping for Ministry aims to give Friends a solid grounding what it is to be a Quaker in the world today and how they personally can live out that calling. Woodbrooke’s Young Adult Leadership Programme is for young adult Friends to develop their knowledge and understanding of the Quaker faith and its history, as well as to develop practical skills for the workplace and everyday life. The Soul of Leadership is an inspiring and enriching programme for anyone in a leadership role who wishes to deepen their inner resources to lead with long-term effectiveness and integrity.
