Ludwig Quirog is a Quaker from the Philippines. He is an environmental activist working towards raising awareness on the aggravated effects of the climate crisis on the global south. In line with this advocacy, he volunteers in educating young people on sustainable practices as well as in lobbying for Earth-friendly laws in the offices of legislators and other politicians.
He is also an advocate for peace and social justice. Since 2013, he has been part of the Alternatives to Violence Project in the Philippines, with extensive experience facilitating workshops on non-violent conflict transformation in community settings, schools, universities, and prisons.
Ludwig is part of the Bohol Worship Group, a very small Unprogrammed Quaker community in the Island of Bohol, which sits at the very heart of the Philippine Archipelago.
