Ruth Wilde

Ruth Wilde is the National Coordinator of the Christian charity Inclusive Church. You may have seen the Inclusive Church series of books on ethnicity, poverty, disability, sexuality, gender and mental health in the Woodbrooke shop or library. Inclusive Church has been active since 2003, when it began working on LGBT and women’s inclusion in the Church of England. It is now ecumenical and working on many different types of inclusion in the churches. IC is an educational charity which primarily works directly with a large network of affiliated churches via resources, conferences, talks and workshops. Ruth has also worked for the Student Christian Movement, where she was Faith in Action Project Worker, and for the US charity Christian Peacemaker Teams. She is currently working towards an MA in Christian Contemporary Theology at Newman University. In her spare time, she likes to explore the countryside and enjoys spending time in her garden in South Birmingham with her wife and son.
