Saskia Basa (she/they) leads QCEA’s Migration & Peace Programme. She has previously worked providing direct support to people on the move through a number community-led initiatives in Turkey, Azerbaijan, France and Spain. They later became active in national and EU advocacy work for migrants’ rights at PICUM, the Spanish Red Cross, and UNRWA before joining QCEA in 2021
