This session offers the enticing prospect of spending a discomforting couple of hours as Jesus presses the question of what you do with what you have. As is always the case when he uses a parable, the issues are not straightforward, forcing us to explore some worthwhile questions about how we judge ourselves and others. This session may open our eyes a little to Jesus as teacher but we may find the most significant light is shone on our own everyday choices.
This standalone online session for meetings includes Tim Ashworth’s recording and commentary on the parable, followed by material and questions for a guided small group discussion finishing with a live session with Tim. It has been planned as a unit to be held over two hours but, if preferred, meetings may spread out the talk, group discussion and live session over anything up to a two-week period.
