Kathy is a member of Lancashire Central and North Area Meeting. She has been part of a number of Christian faith communities and finally arrived at Quakers in 2009 where her young family were made very welcome. Many of her Quaker roles have involved pastoral care and supporting children, young people or families. Her background is in nursing, health visiting and community development and for more than 20 years she tutored university students studying health and social care. She is currently a Lecturer in Online Teaching within the Institute of Educational Technology at the Open University.
